Content Policy

One Card Recipes is a search and formatting tool. It reads recipe information published on public web pages, prefers structured schema.org/Recipe data, and presents a compact card with a visible source link. It does not claim ownership of source recipes, and inclusion is not an endorsement.

Source and attribution

Cards may contain public recipe facts and text such as a title, author, description, rating, times, yield, ingredients, and instructions. The card names and links to the source. Users should visit the source for its complete context, updates, terms, and any monetization that supports the publisher.

The service does not intentionally bypass authentication, paywalls, or a site's active blocking response. A publisher can also block the documented OneCardRecipes/1.0 user agent at its server.

Accuracy and safety

Extracted content can be incomplete, stale, incorrectly marked up, or transformed incorrectly. One Card Recipes does not test recipes or verify:

ingredient identity, substitutions, measurements, or dietary labels;
allergens or cross-contamination risk;
food-safe temperatures, storage, or handling;
nutrition, medical claims, or suitability for a health condition; or
the ownership, licensing, or accuracy of a source page.

Use the original source and your own judgment. Follow authoritative food-safety and medical guidance where relevant. The service and this policy are not medical, nutritional, legal, or other professional advice.

Prohibited use

Do not use the service to:

evade access controls, publisher blocks, rate limits, or usage quotas;
access private, local-network, credential-bearing, or non-HTTP resources;
conduct high-volume automated scraping or denial-of-service activity;
submit unlawful content or use results in a way that violates applicable rights; or
misrepresent a card as an official copy, endorsement, or safety certification.

Publisher opt-out and takedown

A publisher or authorized representative can request removal by contacting the site operator. Provide:

the exact URL or domain;
whether the request covers search discovery, pasted-URL access, or both;
your relationship to the source; and
a concise reason and the desired scope.

Do not put private contact details, credentials, or sensitive evidence in an unsolicited public message. Ask the operator to arrange an appropriate channel if non-public verification is necessary.

The operator will review requests for authenticity and scope. An accepted request may result in a search-provider exclusion, an application-level source block, a cache purge, or a combination. Search caches last up to 24 hours and recipe caches up to seven days under normal expiration; accepted urgent removals should be purged rather than left to expire.

Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
